As our Marketing Specialist you are responsible for the implementation of our (international) product marketing strategy in line with the overall company strategy and plan, tailored towards B2B enterprise clients.
You plan and execute tasks with great detail and passion. Guided by and together with the management @ Play it, you maximize the online and offline marketing presence of our product offering, trigger digital marketing traffic and optimize lead generation and conversion.

- Your primary objective is to generate inbound leads and ensure the successful execution of our marketing strategy;
- As such, your responsibilities span various channels, including SEO/SEA, social media, webinars, events, PR, email, and our website;
- You serve as the main point of contact between the marketing department and our suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration;
- You collaborate closely and maintain clear communication with our specialized marketing partners. Together, you develop campaigns, create testimonial videos, and produce thought leadership materials, including videos;
- You continuously create and update marketing materials, including presentations, flyers, banners, brochures, website content, ads, interviews, and a digital portfolio showcasing our products in both image and video formats, across multiple languages;
- You are responsible for translating and localizing marketing assets created by our central team to suit various markets and regions;
- You construct target prospect lists and eagerly embrace new tools that simplify this task. You recognize the significance of AI-enabled tools in this domain and are enthusiastic about exploring them further;
- You make sure we are represented in the best possible way on events, encompassing booth setup, print and digital materials, and demo resources that support our sales team. You collaborate with designers, oversee material ordering, and manage logistics for both pre- and post-event communication;
- You maintain a strong company presence on social media platforms. Craft multichannel posts related to thought leadership, product updates, relevant industry topics, and employee engagement, all contributing to optimal brand visibility for Play it;
- You’re adept at working within defined budgets, ensuring that marketing initiatives remain financially sustainable;
- You diligently monitor, measure, and report on the performance of marketing activities to enhance the return on market investment and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications and requirements
- You hold a degree in (Digital) Marketing, Communications, or possess equivalent experience;
- You have gained at least a first successful experience in both online and offline marketing within a B2B SaaS company;
- You possess a solid grasp of the customer journey, performance marketing (incl. SEO/SEA), and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- As a digital native, you quickly adapt and have proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics and Content Management Systems (CMS);
- You understand market needs in order to choose the right tactics to reach out to our various target groups, buyer personas and ICPs;
- While you may be based in the western part of Belgium, you are not hesitant to travel across the entire country and even neighboring countries when necessary.

- You have a sharp pen, know the ins and outs of copywriting and can effortlessly research, plan and create written topics on learning and development;
- You are fluent in English and Dutch. French does not frighten you;
- You take initiative and can work independently;
- You are decisive and can react quickly and effectively;
- You have strong communication skills;
- You have strong planning skills to deliver your tasks in a timely manner;
- You are stress-resistant and can work with tight deadlines;
- You are a real team player and enjoy working with (inter)national teams;
- You are interested in and enjoy learning more about enterprise L&D;
- You have an affinity with games. This is what we breathe and eat @ Play it, it makes us unique. You don’t have to be a developer but a love for the medium is a plus.
